Inhomogeneous loop models with open boundaries

We consider the crossing and non-crossing O(1) dense loop models on a semi-infinite strip, with inhomogeneities (spectral parameters) that preserve the integrability. We compute the components of the ground state vector and obtain a closed expression for their sum, in the form of Pfaffian and determinantal formulas.

Integrable vertex and loop models on the square lattice with open boundaries via reflection matrices

The procedure for obtaining integrable vertex models via reflection matrices on the square lattice with open boundaries is reviewed and explicitly carried out for a number of twoand three-state vertex models. These models include the six-vertex model, the 15-vertex A (1) 2 model and the 19-vertex models of Izergin-Korepin and ZamolodchikovFateev. In each case the eigenspectra is determined by a...

Six-vertex, Loop and Tiling Models: Integrability and Combinatorics

This is a review (including some background material) of the author’s work and related activity on certain exactly solvable statistical models in two dimensions, including the six-vertex model, loop models and lozenge tilings. Applications to enumerative combinatorics and to algebraic geometry are described.

Discrete Holomorphicity at Two - Dimensional Critical Points ∗

After a brief review of the historical role of analyticity in the study of critical phenomena, an account is given of recent discoveries of discretely holomorphic observables in critical two-dimensional lattice models. These are objects whose correlation functions satisfy a discrete version of the Cauchy-Riemann relations. Their existence appears to have a deep relation with the integrability o...

Fused integrable lattice models with quantum impurities and open boundaries

The alternating integrable spin chain and the RSOS(q1, q2; p) model in the presence of a quantum impurity are investigated. The boundary free energy due to the impurity is derived, the ratios of the corresponding g functions at low and high temperature are specified and their relevance to boundary flows in unitary minimal and generalized coset models is discussed. Finally, the alternating spin ...
